BY BUS, COACH OR PARK & RIDE

Chelmsford’s Park & Ride is a great way to get into the city. There are two locations, Sandon & Chelmer Valley.

National Express also provides coach services, with the coach stop just five minutes’ walk from the city centre.

 

BY TRAIN

Chelmsford boasts excellent rail links to London and the East of England. Get to London Liverpool Street with a journey time of around 35 minutes. There are also regular services to Ipswich, Norwich, Clacton-on-Sea, and Colchester.

Once you've arrived at Chelmsford Station, a five-minute stroll will take you straight into the city centre, with its superb retail stores, restaurants, visitor attractions, and entertainment.

BY ROAD

You can reach Chelmsford within a 15-minute drive from the M25 (Junction 28), giving excellent access to the national road network. Nearby is the A12, which links London with the east coast of England. Finding a place to leave your car will be easy too, since Chelmsford’s city centre has over 5000 available parking spaces.
