I grew up doing art in school and at home. In the last years of primary school I became more passionate in art classes even if it meant I was only drawing eyes or clouds in my school book! Then my friend, Tegan Lator introduced me to an art class in Hylands Park. The class was taught by Nicky Gayles and over time I started drawing a wider variety of things like landscapes, portraits and even abstract art. I started using different materials such as oil pastels and watercolour which allowed me to express myself and challenge my creativity.

To be able to participate more in the artistic community through Concrete Canvas is an amazing opportunity, it will allow me to meet all sorts of other artists and make my mark on my hometown.
