FOR PROMOTERS, VENUES & ORGANISERS
BRING YOUR EVENT TO
CHELMSFORD
If you run events, manage a venue or have an idea that brings people together after dark, Chelmsford For You can help with funding, local contacts, promotion routes and practical next steps.
CFY Promoter Pot
Got an idea for Chelmsford After Hours?
The CFY Promoter Pot can help promoters, community groups and local organisations bring more events into the city centre. It can support ideas that add something to Chelmsford’s evening or night-time offer, from live music and comedy to culture, pop-ups and new collaborations.
Email the Chelmsford For You team with your idea. Tell us what you want to do, where it might happen, who it is for and what support you need.

Check Permissions before you promote
Planning a night in the city centre? If it involves alcohol, music, dancing, late-night food or changes to an existing venue licence, check what permissions you need before you promote it.
Chelmsford City Council handles licensing. The CFY team can help point you towards the right place to start.
