Chelmsford, it’s time to celebrate our brilliant city once again! The BID Business Awards return for their third year in 2026,
recognising and celebrating the outstanding businesses that help our city centre thrive.
HOW IT WORKS
Stage One: Nominations - NOW CLOSED
The local community nominates their favourite Chelmsford city centre businesses across 12 award categories.
Nominations close: Tuesday 31 March 2026 - NOW CLOSED
Stage Two: Shortlisting - COMPLETED
Our BID Business Awards judging panel reviews all nominations and selects a shortlist for each category.
Stage Three: Public Vote - NOW CLOSED!
Public voting is now open until the 17th May 11:50pm.
Giving the community the chance to choose their winners from each shortlisted category.
Stage Four: Awards Evening - GET READY TO GLAM UP!
Winners will be revealed at the Chelmsford BID Business Awards evening, hosted at the beautiful Chelmsford Cathedral on:
