The Chelmsford BID Business Awards returned for it’s second year in 2025, providing the opportunity to celebrate the fabulous businesses in Chelmsford city centre. Once again, Chelmsford For you were blown away from the response received from both the public and business community.
The initial nominations stage opened in January which saw thousands of forms submitted nominating businesses across 10 different categories. The initiatives independent judging panel had the difficult task of going through every single nomination and whittling each category to a shortlist of just three businesses each.
The voting stage opened in May allowing the public to vote for their favourite shortlisted business across each of the ten categories. A Huge thank you to all those who took the time to support the scheme, thanks to you the BID Business Awards 2025 received an incredible number of votes, it shows just how much love there is out there for Chelmsford’s wonderful businesses.
The voting results, along with mystery shopper reports, went back to the independent judging panel who selected those winners. The business community came together on Wednesday 11 June 2025 to celebrate all those nominated and to find out this years winners.
