A HUGE THANK YOU
A huge thank you to the thousands of people who joined us in the city centre on Saturday 11 April for the fourth Chelmsford Takeover!
Organised by Chelmsford For You in collaboration with Essex Cosplayers, the city once again came to life with iconic heroes, characters, and show cars from the big screen, TV, and comics, alongside a fantastic range of activities and workshops for all ages. This year marked our biggest event yet, featuring three brand-new zones, even more interactive experiences, and the return of the costume competition and the Fire and Lego Walk, giving everyone the chance to get involved.
The event proudly supports Little Havens Hospice, which provides vital care and support for children and young people up to the age of 18 living with complex or incurable conditions, as well as their families. Did you know the charity needs to raise over £79,000 every week to continue its incredible work? Events like this, and your support, make that possible.
We’ve been truly blown away by this year’s turnout, our highest attendance to date! The Little Havens team is currently counting all donations, and we look forward to announcing the final total soon.
