MY DOG SIGHS

My Dog Sighs has been ‘doing the unnecessary with love’ globally for the last twenty years. His glassy reflective eyes bounce narratives of love, loss, memory and place.

Take a closer look at the huge eye looking down on you from the side of Chelmsford Market and you will notice four characters reflected. These are The London Police who have been instrumental in creating Concrete Canvas and who have their own piece on Ladbrokes on the High Street. The iris of the eye itself is is from a macro shot of Market manager Kirsten, the musculature around the eye belongs to her daughter Lily (streets_of_lily).
