HOW IT WORKS AND WHO’S BEHIND IT
The BCRP brings Chelmsford businesses together with Essex Police, Chelmsford City Council, local security teams and Chelmsford For You. Everyone can share information faster to help cut crime and anti-social behaviour in the city centre.
Instead of reporting things alone, businesses now share one picture of what's happening.

Our role
Chelmsford For You brings businesses, police, council and security teams together, and runs workshops and round tables where they can share information and discuss the issues affecting local businesses.
It coordinates the partnership, helps businesses join and provides ongoing support to BID members.

Use a secure Hytera P50 two-way radio to report suspicious behaviour, theft, anti-social behaviour and urgent incidents to members and the CCTV Control Room.

Report incidents quickly, get live alerts, check offender awareness profiles and share intelligence with other members.
