Chelmsford For You presents, the BIG Easter Egg Hunt

Calling all EGG-splorers! The Chelmsford For You BIG Easter Egg Hunt is back for its fifth year this Easter—bigger and better than ever.

From Saturday 28 March to Sunday 12 April, the Easter Bunny will be hopping into Chelmsford city centre, hiding colourful
Easter Eggs in the windows of a number of fantastic local businesses.

But there’s a twist… each egg contains a hidden number, and we need your help to uncover the secret total!

    Submit your final answer.
    You’ll be entered into the prize draw for a chance to win:

  • WHERE TO TAKE PART

    The Easter Egg Hunt will take place across Chelmsford city centre, including:

    High Street, Springfield Road, Baddow Road, Tindal Street, Bond Street, High Chelmer, The Meadows and Duke Street.

    A full list of participating businesses and a downloadable trail scorecard will be available from Saturday 28 March.

  • EVENT DATES

    Start date: Saturday 28 March 2026

    End date: Sunday 12 April 2026

    Be sure to submit your entry before 23:59 on Sunday 12 April 2026 to be in with a chance of winning.

  • PRIZES

    All correct entries will be entered into a prize draw, with winners selected at random. Prizes include hampers, Easter Egg bundles and more.
