The Chelmsford Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) is a collaborative initiative dedicated to creating a safer, more secure environment for businesses, employees, and customers across Chelmsford. Working closely with Essex Police, Chelmsford City Council, local security teams, and a wide range of retailers, hospitality venues, and commercial organisations, the partnership focuses on reducing crime, anti-social behaviour, and persistent offending affecting the business community.
Through effective information sharing, coordinated responses, business support, and targeted interventions, the Chelmsford BCRP helps members protect their premises, reduce losses, and contribute to a thriving local economy. United under a shared goal of safety and resilience, the partnership strengthens communication and empowers businesses to work together in keeping Chelmsford a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
